Card games

Card games gotta be talked about here. Regardless of anyone’s sex or age, you definitely must have played at least one card game, be it a game of poker professionally or just a casual game of Go Fish with friends. Anyway, let’s talk about some of the most popular card games of all time. Just the three best.

Yeah, right. A very old one but had to make it into this list. Spades has been around for almost over 100 years. I know a couple of friends who are friends no more, and families without love anymore; all because of SPADES. The game is not just a game. The game is more or less played like Hearts, and originates from the Whist family of card games.

War is one of the simplest card games ever, no wonder it made it to our list. It only requires 2 players with a deck of 52 cards. Playing War doesn’t require any expertise whatsoever. Simply begin by shuffling your deck, and then split the cards 26 to each player. Players lay down their cards one after the other, and the card with the higher number wins. Whoever has more cards at the end of the game is the winner.

Let’s play poker. You probably know it as the top gambling game of all time, and the game has even been brought online these days. There are several variations of poker, including Texas Hold’em, Seven-card Stud, Razz, Omaha, and so on. Certainly up to you to ix up the experience as you will, although the thrill of poker remains constant. If you don’t know much about card games, please don’t ask an American about Poker. The game is quite popular in the US and is more and more considered a sport than a card game!
